HISTORY
This historic building was constructed in 1878. Maison Béthanie was a charitable hospital where the Good Shepherd Sisters welcomed unmarried pregnant women. They took in babies born out of wedlock for adoption. These sinners of their day could find shelter, care and support. It was also a place of rehabilitation for women prisoners.

In 1992, Maison Béthanie was converted into a museum that tells the story of the Good Shepherd Sisters' congregation, and looks at the social history of excluded women and abandoned children in Quebec in the 19th and 20th centuries.

IMMACULATE FINISH
Converted to condominiums in 2019, the Maison Béthanie condos are truly incomparable. The finish is designed to respect the charm and history of Old Quebec, while maintaining impeccable quality. The building has been completely redesigned with charm and flair.

CHARM, HISTORY AND ART...
This condominium is located in the heart of Old Quebec, in a truly historic building. What's more, the stained-glass window in the dining room was produced by an artist of yesteryear. We have a beautiful framed piece of evidence, found during conversion work.
